Terms of Service

The terms on which this site is offered, and on which you use it.

What these terms cover

These terms cover the use of this website, which is run by Metodo Covo S.r.l.s. The company's details are in the Legal Notice. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use it.

They do not cover the work the studio does for its clients. A commission is governed by the agreement made for it, and nothing here adds to that agreement or replaces it.

Using the site

You may browse the site, play what it offers to be played, and write to us through it, free of charge and without an account. You agree not to:

  • use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms other people;
  • try to break it, overload it or get around its security, or probe it for weaknesses without our written agreement;
  • send automated or bulk messages through the contact form;
  • collect its contents in bulk by automated means;
  • pass yourself off as someone else when you write to us.

We may limit or block access for anyone who does.

The interactive parts

Some pages do more than show: a concert room you can walk into with other visitors, a sketch on the Alive page that listens to your room, a music player. They are offered as they are, for you to enjoy, and they may change, pause or be withdrawn without notice.

In the concert room you share a space with other people. You are anonymous there, and so are they: behave as you would in a real room.

Alive is in beta and still in development. What its page shows is where it stands today, not a promise of what it will do or when. Access to the beta is by request, on the terms agreed when it is given.

What you send us

What you write to us stays yours. Sending a message does not create a contract, and it does not oblige either of us to work together. Please do not send confidential material, or work that is not yours to share, before we have agreed how it will be handled.

Work you link to, or make for the Work with us test, stays yours too. Showing it to us gives us no rights over it: we look at it to get to know you, and we do not publish it or use it for anything else.

How we treat your name, your address and your message is on the Privacy page.

Content and rights

Everything on the site is protected as the Legal Notice sets out. Using the site gives you no right over it beyond viewing it and sharing links to it.

Links to other sites

The site links to other sites and services: Instagram, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, our clients' own sites. We do not run them, and we are not responsible for what they contain or do.

Availability and liability

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not guarantee that it will always be reachable or free of errors, or that every part of it will run on every device: some of it is demanding, and a browser may be shown a simpler version.

To the extent the law allows, Metodo Covo is not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of the site, or from not being able to use it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or takes away a right that the law gives you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may change these terms. The version on this page, with the date at its top, is the one in force, and a change applies from the day it is published.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you use the site as a consumer, the mandatory protections of the country you live in still apply, and a dispute belongs to the court of the place where you live or are domiciled. In every other case the courts of Pisa, Italy, have exclusive jurisdiction.
